J ust overflown by either a beech model 18 or a B25 Mitchell. All I saw was twin engine and H-Tail. Definitely piston.

Looked bigger than a model 18 but didn’t look at first glance to be a Mitchell

Either way...odd

Me too. We live close enough to the pattern of our local GA airport that I’m collecting a bunch of crappy zoomed-in phone photos of cool planes

You just need a better camera. The flyovers at my house include a gyrocopter (same guy ever couple of weeks), the occasional GA aircraft (usually a Cherokee), and on rare occasions, a flight of Blackhawks. The ramp at the airport where I usually fly is much more interesting.
